The work starts with mapping of the status of the regulatory systems and clinical trials (CT) functions of ECOWAS NRAs against the WHO GBT.
The West African Health Organization (WAHO) develops a long-term regional plan for regulatory maturity development and facilitates country selection for ML enhancement support by Ghana FDA.
Ghana FDA assists selected countries to identify areas of strength as well as areas for improvement with focus on regulatory system and clinical trials oversight function, to update their institutional development plan (IDP), and to work on their ML enhancement.
